OBDSTAR X300 DP Adds Key to Geely EMGRAND E820 2014

How-to: add new keys to a Geely Emgrand 8 year 2018 with OBDSTAR X300 DP/ Key master DP via OBD.


Pin code is required to program new key. The car comes with a card with IMMO security code. If you lose the card, X300 DP gives you an option to read pin code as well.

Connect X300 DP with vehicle via OBD
Turn on ignition switch

Select IMMOBILIZER->GEELY/HUAPU/AQYL->Select from Vehicle->Geely->EMGRAND->E820->Immobilizer->STEC Immobilizer->Set Pincode->Input Pin code








OBDSTAR X300DP asks to enter 4-digit pin code and confirm

Pin code input completed.
Select Program function->Program keys



Before program new keys must delete all keys.


Program success


Number of programmed keys: 1


If you want to program next key, insert next key and turn on ignition switch, press ENTER to continue within 5 sec. If don’t, press ESC.

it would not learn the key on the immo side but if you used the diagnostic side and ID’d the vehicle and went into the RF hub… I was able to program the fobik key. NOTE: I wasn’t able to pull the pin on either side (immo or diagnostic)

Chance to diagnosis, programming and parameters: The team if you work. It is not recommended as the first programming team. For Price. Other more economic teams are recommended and then set up. But I’ve had a chance to diagnosis, module programming and booking of parameters. etc

6 Steps to Program Nissan GTR 2010 Remote by OBDSTAR X300

How to program smart remote key 3-button to Nissan GTR year 2010 (with card slot) using OBDSTAR X300 DP/ Key Master DP tablet key programmer.
Main steps:
Step 1: Read BCM code
Step 2: Calculate Pin Code
Step 3: Release steering wheel lock
Step 4: Program smart key
Step 5: Program chip
Step 6: Synchronize to start
Mark all remotes with number 1, 2,3
Remote number 1, 2 are programmed and number 3 is a new remote
Take all remotes out of the car
Close all doors and lock the steering lock
Step 1: Read 5-digit BCM Nissan code with  X300 DP
Select Nissan->Nissan/Infitini V31.56->4-digital Pin code->Smart key system->Auto search->Button type->with card slot
Take all smart key out of the car and press Start button
Select Read BCM Code
Read 5-digit BCM code success: 8D060
Step 2: Calculate pin code
Select Pincode calculate->4 Digit Pincode->BCM code
Turn ignition off
Confirm BCM code
OBDSTAR X300DP calculated old pin code and new pin code
*GTR pre-2009 use old pincode

Step 3 Release steering wheel lock

Put all remotes inside the car
Turn on hazard light
Select With card slot->smart key system
Insert smart key into the slot (The slot is below the start button or the lower left corner
of the steering wheel) and switch ignition on
Select Program smart key
Press Yes if already releases steering wheel lock
Enter new pin code to access
Program successfully
Insert and turn on 5 seconds every keys
Insert 1st remote and turn on 5 seconds
Insert 2nd remote and turn on 5 seconds
Insert 3rd remote and turn on 5 seconds
Turn ignition off and take 3rd remote out
Step 5: Program chip
Insert 1st remote again turn ignition on and take out
Steering wheel lock release
Insert 2nd remote again turn ignition on and take out

Insert 3rd remote, turn ignition on and press brake to start car for 10 seconds
Step 6: Synchronize to start
Turn off and take out remote
Open and close driver door

Here’s the guide on how to initialize ECU box Toyota Corolla Altis year 2006 chip 4C when all keys lost by OBDSTAR x300 dp.
Engine control Toyota Corolla 2005-2006

L56R is eeprom 93C56 at IC900 position
Cannot program all keys lost by OBDII.
Remove ecu and desoldering IC 93c56
Connect key master DP with VCI and EEPROM PIC adapter
Connect 12V supply electric to EEPROM adapter
Use hot air to desoldering eeprom 93C56
Solder 93C56 to adapter 93CXX
Solder 93C56 into eeprom adapter
connect adapter to EEPROM PIC
Select Diag Program ->EEPROM adapter->EEPROM v33.59-EEPROM ->EEPROM RW (read dump file)->93CXX series->93C56
Save dump file
Select Data initialization ->Toyota/Lexus-> Immobilizer initialization->4C Chip- >-05 month 6 (manufactured before year 2005 May)-> Engine initialization (93C56)
Save dump file before initialization
Data initialization ok
Desoldering 93C56 from OBDSTAR X300 DP eeprom adapter
Resolder back to ecu
Install ecu back to the car. Security light steady.
Program keys as the following steps within 120 seconds:
A: Program 2 master keys and 1 sub key.
1) Insert the 1st master key and wait for 5 sec
2) Insert the 2nd master key and wait for 5 sec
3) Insert the 3rd sub key and wait for 5 sec
Security light turns off and programming is finished.
B: Program 1 master key and 1 sub key.
1) Insert the 1st master key and wait for 5 sec
2) Insert the 2nd sub key and wait for 5 sec
3) Turn on and turn off the ignition switch quickly for 5 times.
Security light turns off and programming is finished.
C: Program 1 master key.
1) Insert the master key and wait for 5 sec
2) Turn on and turn off the ignition switch quickly for 5 times.
Security light turns off and programming is finished.

OBDSTAR X300 DP PLUS Program Toyota 2016 Smart 88/A8 chip

How to: program Toyota year 2016 smart key with 88/A8 chip when all keys lost using OBDSTAR X300 DP Plus (X300 PAD2)/Key Master DP PLUS full version and P001 programmer (with smart key emulators).
OBDSTAR X300 DP  (Key Master DP) full version will perform the feature as well. But you need to connect to VCI  box and purchase P001 programmer additionally.  Procedure is similar. Check: LINK
All keys have lost. No key identified.
Step 1: Backup EEPROM
Connect X300 DP PLUS tablet with vehicle via OBD socket
Select Immobilizer->Toyota->Toyota/Scion/Lexus V32.02->Smart key system->Type 5 All smart keys lost->Read EEPROM
This function can read and backup vehicle eeprom data.
After backup eeprom data. the simulated card is generated with the data.
Using simulated card attach start button to turn on instrument and the simulated key can be used as original car key to add smart key.
Save eeprom data
EEPROM data backup succeed. Execute the Make Simulated Card function.
Step 2: Program Smart Card
Select Make Simulated Card function
This function can generate an simulated card when all keys lost.
Use the simulated card instead of original car key to approach the start button and turn on the
instrument and add smart key.
Make sure the simulated card is fully charged, otherwise the Add Smart Key procedure may fail
Select EEPROM data to generate simulated key
This function is available by connecting the server, please ensure the internet connection is normal.
Put No.3 simulated card (red) into P001 programmer
Insert battery into simulated card and switch on
Simulated key 1 applies to the vehicle with 94/D4 type of smart key;
Simulated key 2 applies to the vehicle with 98 type of smart key;
Simulated key 3 applies to the vehicle with 88/A8 type of smart key;
Simulated key 4 applies to the vehicle with A9 type of smart key;
Insert read simulated card into P001 programmer
Generating simulated card
Generate smart card success.
Attach the simulated card close to the Start button and try to turn on instrument.
If you turn on the dash normally, use the simulated card as original key to add smart key.

Accessory 1: C001 circuit board
C001 circuit board is compatible with old NO. 3 and 4 circuit boards, applying to EEPROM chip dismantling and reading, Tianjin FAW and VIZHI immobilizer coil initialization and other functions.
Accessory 2: C002 circuit board
The newly developed C002 circuit board is connected by W001, W002 or W003 without welding the chip.
Accessory 3: W001 data cable
W001 data cable can read or write data by linking the chip with a bonding wire

W002 data cable can read or write data by clamping the chip (SOP 8-pin) directly without welding EEPROM.

About Toyota simulated smart key  
1.Why use a Toyota simulated smart key?

For the Toyota/Lexus 2007-2016 models, if all smart keys are lost, the instrument table must be removed and the ECU must be replaced. The cost is very expensive.
This Toyota simulated smart key can generate a Toyota key with our devices in the case of all keys lost, so the ignition switch can be turned on, and then a new smart key can be added and programmed with our devices.
2.What are the advantages of the Toyota simulated smart key?

  • Save costs;
  • Reusable.
3.  How many types of Toyota simulated smart keys in total? 
There are 4 types at present, and the 5th one is in development.
4. Which type of smart keys can be simulated?

OBDSTAR Read Hyundai Kia 46 Smart Key Pin Code

OBDSTAR released Hyundai & Kia 46/47/8A chip smart key programming feature in March, 2018. Here obdii365.com introduces 2 steps to read Hyundai Kia 46 smart card security code using OBDSTAR X300 DP (Key Master DP) tablet key programmer.
I. How to read 12 digits code with MINI ND900 device? 
There are two types of models need MINI900 device for 12 digits code reading :
a. the model with card slot;
b. the model with one-key start.
1. Specific method for 12 digits code reading of the model with card slot(shown as Figure I):
remove the card slot shell first (shown as Figure II). MINI900 cannot receive the vehicle signal directly for the limitation of card slot design, therefore it is necessary to remove the card slot to proceed. If the first time failed, please repeat for several times.
2. Specific method for 12 digits code reading of the model with one-key start:
directly read the 12 digits code with the MINI900 device put close to the start button. Shown as below.
Note: When reading 12 digits code of the smart card, pls remove the battery and then operate as above.
After 12 digits code reading is successful, its display sequence is as follow: the last two digits in the second row + all digits in the first row, that is 63 4B 69 4D 82 52. Shown as below.
II. How to Read Security Code via OBDSTAR Key Master DP :
1. Select vehicle model and the latest software version
2. Select “Read PinCode” option
3. Select “Read PinCode(46 Smart Card)”
4. Input the 12 digits code acquired by ND900 mini key copier
5. Make sure the input value is correct
6. Read the security code successfully

Manually enter mileage you desired
