A master key is required before deleting or adding other keys.
How to identify a key is a master or a valet key?
Insert key into ignition switch, if security light does not flash, that is a master key. If security light goes on for 1 sec and then off, that is a valet key.

Yanhua ACDP Add Land Rover Key from KVM MC9S12XEQ384

Yanhua Mini ACDP newly adds Jaguar/Land rover KVM module which will program key for JLR KVM module from year 2014 to year 2018.  Here’s a demo guide on add key no soldering (all keys lost shares the same procedure.)

 

Remove KVM from vehicle

It’s easy to find that,

you’d better to have more than one key tool for Mercedes key programming.

IMPORTANT: CGDI-MB is the only FBS4 key programming tool!

So, you have to use a CGDI MB esp. for FBS4 key (confirmed to read and write FBS4 keys to W205, W218,W166… without any issue) and get another auto key programmer (such as VVDI-MB TOOL and the like)  for BGA keys and the other.

Note that with Xhorse VVDI MB, you should buy VVDI PROG too, because the are some eis and ecu’s that you cant do with MB Tool independently. For example some w210 eis or Sprinter 906. You should have both, VVDI MB Tool and VVDI prog. Or, if you have to buy some tool again, Simon Touch is the best, but its more expensive.

But if you have a CGDI MB, you have a chance to program a new key through OBD. All done with a tool. That’s the reason why people look for it.

YOU HAVE TO KNOW: What is the difference between FBS3 and FBS4:

Late 2015 is FBS4, Early production 2015 is still FBS3.

Not on the outer shell.. maybe the numbers under the battery cover will tell you..

You can also tell by the kind of car…

For sure FBS4… 222, 231, 205, 117, 2012 model year and up 212 and 218, 166 and 190

Note that FBS4 was added to 212 207 etc at mid 2013 (804) not in MY 2012

FBS4 can use blank keys to program to the car with Xentry and an authorized online account.. Not all online accounts have access to program keys..

Gambit Programmer Fail to Receive Response from Server Solution

Problem:
When i run software of CAR KEY MASTER II (Gambit key programmer), i came across  error “Failed to receive a valid HTTP response from the server404”

What should I do?

Solution:
Opps, You were trying to update the device online.
Gambit programmer software does not allow to be updated online.
Don’t connect to network and run update.

Try to run the key programmer to check if it works properly.

Purpose: Add a new key to 2014 Vauxhall Combo
To complete the procedure, you will need the following items:
Car key programmer: JMD Handy Baby for ID46 key cloning
Key cutting machine: Condor Mini cut to code
Key:
The key blank or remote key you are cloning to
The original key to clone from
Car: 2014 Vauxhall Combo van (the key will need to work on)
Once you have the necessary items we can begin the process of cutting and cloning a spare STD non remote ID46 car key, in this case a 2014 Vauxhall combo van.

First, switch on the Condor Mini cut to code machine.

Type in the key blank using the keypad on screen. In this case SIP22.

As we are decoding and then cutting, put the original key into the correct jaw and position as instructed by the screen diagram.

Now we have cut the spare key, and are ready to use the Handy Baby key programmer to clone the key so it starts the vehicle engine.
You should prepare a Handy Baby, your cut key and the JMD46 cloning chip.

into the newly cut spare key.

The Handy Baby will state success when it has sniffed all the data

Alternatively, you can hold the antenna next to the key and the aerial ring on the car.

Now remove the key from the ignition and put the original key back into the Handy Baby and press ‘OK’ to decode.

After a minute or 2, it
will be completed and the Handy Baby screen informs you that decoding has been a success and instructs you to insert your JMD46 chip which is in the spare key.

Once completed, the Handy Baby gives you the option to do a 2nd key. If you want to do a 2nd key, insert a new JMD46 chip and press ‘OK’ to copy. We only want 1 key today, so we press the left arrow to exit the function.

Now test your key and start the engine. The key will work flawlessly.
The whole cloning procedure using handy baby took under 3 minutes in this case,
but on whole it averages between 2 and 4 minutes on ID46.

Hardware:  original Tango from Scorpio, some use genuine Tactrix Openport J2534 Pass-Thru)
clone openport does not work.
Here take  Tactrix OBD Port Interface as an example.
1. Select Tango Plus Toyota.

Main user interface will shut down.
New Tango Plus user interface will open.
2. Click on settings in order to check the installed Pass-Thru device has been detected.
Click OK.
Click YES when prompted to save changes.

3. Select Connect to Car
If a successful connection is achieved with the Smart ECU a pop up window indicating OK will display.
Note: Once connected the ECU Part Code may or may not display.

4. Select Read Data from Car.
A progress bar will appear.
When reading data completes, the proximity key info will display together with the required emulator.

5. Fit battery to the specified emulator
Place emulator over the antennae aperture of the Tango emulators  (battery side down).

6. Select Write Emulator.
Click on specified emulator followed by OK

Select Save File, it may be useful for repeat customer business, research and or comparison purposes.
7. Use emulator to program OEM fobs to the vehicle by way of Tango or similar.
The emulator will start the vehicle and therefore may be used to rescue the vehicle in an emergency situation.
8. To clear data from emulator for next time use, simply remove the battery.
