FVDI 2018 abrites commander new test report: immo off for me7.5 vag no issue.
First you need to read 95040 original dump data with carprog 
Select EEPROM function->95XX->95040
Read and verify
Save original dump: name it Immo Ori for example
Then open FVDI 2018 software
Select Dump Tool function
Select Type: ECU ME 7.x Immo Bypass (8P08/95080)
Upload original dump read by carprog programmer
Press Immo off
Immo is disabled.
Save Immo off data
Open carprog full software again
Upload Immo off data
Write immo

Does V2018.9 MB Star comes with HHT-WIN software?

This user manual is aimed to help newbies and those who has issues with MB Star diagnostic system – HHT-WIN.
HHT-WIN is Hand Held Tester comes with XODS disks used for Mercedes diagnostics.
In essence HHTWIN is a hi-tech version of the LED blink code readers.
Post 1996 OB2 models are fairly easy to read, however the early diagnostic system HHTWIN encompassed within the very latest Star system is more difficult to get grips with, so this is a trial sticky topic to address any issues encountered using the hhtwin system.

In detail….
HHT-WIN vs Xentry vs DAS: software and car support
Xentry took me to DAS, and DAS switched over (automatically) to good old HHT-WIN, again. Guess my 16-year old SUV’s system is a bit ancient in the scheme of Mercedes-Benz technology.
From what I’ve seen:
All MB from late 80’s to 99 = HHT-WIN
All MB from 2001 to 2009 = DAS
All MB from 2010+ = Xentry
The year 2000 is a weird transition period — some MB made in 1999 but the model year is 2000 will be diagnosed from the 38-pin under the hood and thus use HHT-win. Other MB made in early 2000 and sold as a 2000 model will have the OBD port and the SDS will require the OBD cable to diagnosis….and will use DAS.
And then there are orphan cars, like some SLK models — some 2000-2001 SLK require the 38-pin.
I’ve even seen a 2000 E320 that had both 38-pin and OBD port — I could use either port to conduct a full diagnosis. That was funny.
HHT-WIN supports modules on Mercedes vehicles:
HHT-WIN should be able to read all Modules.
Having said that, for Model Years 1990 – 12/1993, the Roadster Soft Top Module has 30 possible fault codes associated with it.
Whereas for Model Years 1/1994 – 1996, the Roadster Soft Top Module has only 11 possible fault codes associated with it.
HHT-WIN software install:
IMPORTANT: HHT-WIN is updated to 09.2018 Mercedes software disk. Software released in 2017 and 2018 doesn’t come with HTT-WIN. But now, it comes again!
HHTWIN directly install on Windows 7 32 bit:
Disable UAC settings to “Never notify” -> Restart system if needed. It`s better to DISABLE idiotic Windows Defender too. Then, you could return UAC settings back.
First simply run HHT.exe, it will install HHT to C:\HHT, then start Xentry.OpenShell.XDOS.HHT.C4.exe/Xentry.OpenShell.XDOS.HHT.C3.exe … that`s all.
Some systems must be restarted at the end.
The problem with “–” version was fixed.
Delete C:\HHT directory and begin from the first step.
If you will update your Xentry.OpenShell.XDOS version … just apply the patch once again.

  1. HHT-WIN setup on Dell D630 install
Error: I got my SDS last week , initially I chose the external USB disc option but have now installed it on my recently acquired Dell 630. Everything installed well, however when I get to the point of using it and it automatically goes to use HHT(as my car is a 1993 model)it says”diagnostic connector is being initialised” however then it says”com port assigned! close other use!”
I took this to mean I had it on wrong COM port and sure enough I had it on COM 1 but have changed it to COM 2 both on the machine XP and on the virtual XP machine ( I am using the RS232 connector to the 38 pin diagnostic connector) but it said the same thing again.
Solution: go to the windows system menu in control panel and under the harware section look at the com port assignmennts and make sure the com port you designated isn’t already assigned to something else.
also, does the dell630 have a dedicated RS232 com port or are you using a usb/pcmcia/cardbus to RS232 converter.
  1. HHTwin resets the switches:
Error: How do I reset the switches with HHTwin? Or do I need a different software? My MUX is C3.


Solution: you can’t reset the switches. you can clear error codes, but the switch state is what it is. DAS is telling you what the switch state is. Or at least what it thinks the switch state is.
you’ll need to examine the switches and see if either they are misadjusted, not connected, or not functioning.
HHT-WIN review from real users:
Review 1: so far the SD Connect C4 & HHT has been informative. erased RST codes, top works, going through other functions found some neat ones. Turn on/off headlights, taillights, turn the electric fans onto each of the 4 speeds etc.
Review 2: On my new 2015 GMC Denali pickup, from the dash menu I can change between F and C for outside temp and coolant temp and transmission temp, and between MPH and KPH on the spedo, and between PSI and BAR on the oil pressure. I think I can also change the tire pressure readout between PSI and either BAR or KPascals. And I can even change the shape and location of the various gauges. Spedo and tach stay in the same place, but can change shape and display for oil pressure, transmission temp, voltmeter, coolant temp.
Review 3: I changed F to C with HHTwin. I also activated the rollbar. Kind of underwhelming.

Auro OtoSys IM600 Program Key for 2012 Chrysler Town and Country

How to: read pin code and add key to a Chrysler town and country year 2012 using Auro OtoSys IM100/IM600 tablet.
Connect IM600 and UP400 with vehicle
Select IMMO->Chrysler->Manual Selection->Town& Country->2011 up->Knob-style smart card->Read Immobilizer Password (CAN)








Turn on ignition switch
IM600/IM100 read 4-digit security pin code success
Select Immobilizer (CAN)->Key Learning->Key Learning


For PEPS, remove the Start button and insert the key to be learned; otherwise insert the key directly and then turn on ignition.
OtoSys IM600 will require to enter 4-digit pin code to access
Enter and confirm
Key Learning successful.

How to Program Key for Hyundai Creta 2018 by OBD

The task is to make a duplicate of the key for the Hyundai Creta year 2018 with key ID60 chip (80 bits), the chip and remote control programming are performed by the Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.
Note: Pin code is required.
Step 1: Program chip key
Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD socket
Immobilizer->Hyundai->Select from type->Immobilizer->Type 3(K)-> Read key count
Turn on ignition switch
K518 identified 2 keys stored in car
Select Program key
Insert key and turn on ignition
Lonsdor K518 requires 6-digit pin code to access
Program completed, press OK to program next key
Replace new key and turn on ignition
Programming success
Remove the key and wait 5 sec, programming complete
Both keys can start vehicle.
Step 2: Program remote control with Lonsdor K518ISE
Select Immobilizer->Hyundai->Select from type->Remote control system->16 PIN->Type 2(CAN)->Program remote
Turn on ignition switch
Turn off ignition and remove key, press OK to continue
Program remote control. Press LOCK and UNLOCK button for more than 1 sec
Program 1st remote success, repeat to program next one if needed
Remote control programming completed.
Test the remote, working no issue!!!

Will OtoSys IM100 work with UP400 adapter for IM600?

As titled, will Auro OtoSys IM100 work with UP400 programmer to perform same IMMO function as IM600 (For immo only, don’t mention auto diagnosis)?
Confirmed! OtoSys 100 + UP400 will be able to do the same immo key programming as im600.
With the up400 adapter,  apart from the Mercedes key programming, your Otosys IM100 will have features like bmw cas4 key learning, 2015-2018 Land Rover&Jaguar Key Writing, Volvo Smart Key Learning etc.
Most require eeprom work!
Otosys IM100 will work like Auro IM600 for immobilizer features and read PIN/CS from AUDI Q5/A4/A5 2015-2017 and learn keys to Mercedes-Benz




This is just a clarification. We don’t have UP400 programmer alone for sale. UP400 only comes with IM600 as a bundle kit.  Further information, please contact Auro official stuff.

I request technical support because with the Auro otosys IM600 I want to read a cas4 module from bmw and at the time of reading I get a legend that says CONTACT YOUR DEALER BECAUSE THE HARDWARE VERSION OF THE PROGRAMMER IS TOO LOW.  The newest upgrade says it will write BMW CAS4.
Hi, the new upgrade requires higher version UP400, you can send the up400 to where you bought the equipment to be updated in hardware. Then it will compatible with new features.
Don’t forget to provide your Auro serial number, including, IM600/IM100 tablet, J2534 box and UP200/UP400 programmer. You can find S/N on the back of the main host.


If you find your IM600/IM100 don’t work on these features, try to contact your dealer first. Then send the UP200/UP400 programmer back for upgrade if necessary.

How to Program Jeep Compass 2007 Key with Auro IM600

How to: read security pin code and learn key on a Jeep Compass year 2007 using Auro OtoSys IM100/IM600 tablet.

Step 1: Read Pin Code
Turn on ignition switch
Select IMMO->Auto Detect VIN->Jeep USA->Manual Selection->COMPASS->2007- Blade Key->Read Immobilizer Password (CAN)
Turn ignition off and turn on the emergency flashers
Read security code success
Step 2: Learn Key
Select Immobilizer (CAN)->Key Learning->Erase Key
Erase all learnt keys

Auro IM600 require to enter Pin code to access
Erase successfully
Select Old Key Learning
Turn ignition off, insert the key to be learned and then turn the ignition on.
Simultaneously press LOCK button and UNLOCK button, then press Unlock button. Repeat above steps for many times in 30 sec.
Key learning completed.

Kia Ceed 2015 Key Programming with Lonsdor K518

The task is to duplicate a key for the Kia Ceed year 2015 with the key ID60 chip (80 bits), the chip and remote control programming is performed by the Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer.
Step 1: Read Pin Code
First you need to read Pin code before programming. Try to calculate pin code with Hyundai/Kia pin code calculatorUSB dongle. This pin code calculator will pull out pin code for Hyundai/Kia from year 1996 to 2016.
Lonsdor is not able to read Kia Pin code ID60.
(K518 will read Hyundai/Kia pin code 46/8A/47, check example here .)
Step 2: Program Chip Key
Connect Lonsdor K518ise with vehicle via OBD socket
Select Immobilizer->Kia-> Select from type->Immobilizer
If you don’t know which type to choose from, try one by one. If you selected the wrong type, it will not read key number or give communication failure error.
Until I selected Type5 (K-line) and turn on ignition, K518 can identify key numbers
Then select Program key
Lonsdor K518 asks to enter 6-digit pin code to access
Insert key and turn on ignition
Program complete. press Yes to program next key
Replace new key and turn on ignition
Remove key and wait for 5 sec, program complete.
Both keys can start car.
Step 3: Program remote with Lonsdor K518ISE
Select Kia->Select from type-> Remote System ->16 PIN-> select remote type-> Program remote
Turn on ignition
Again if you don’t know which remote type to choose, try them one by one. If select wrong remote type, it will display “connection failed” or “vehicle no respond” error.
Here I selected Remote Type 1 (K), it worked.
Up to 4 remotes can be programmed.
Insert first key, turn on ignition, then turn ignition off and remove key
Press LOCK of UNLOCK button for more than 1 sec
Program 1st remote complete. Program next one.
Program 2 remotes successfully
Test the remote control.

2013 Dodge Ram 1500s: Did fobik (non prox) key
it would not learn the key on the immo side but if you used the diagnostic side and ID’d the vehicle and went into the RF hub… I was able to program the fobik key. NOTE: I wasn’t able to pull the pin on either side (immo or diagnostic)

Chance to diagnosis, programming and parameters: The team if you work. It is not recommended as the first programming team. For Price. Other more economic teams are recommended and then set up. But I’ve had a chance to diagnosis, module programming and booking of parameters. etc
Pretty streamlineThe price $3500 is a bit much off it sure is a great kit though. Made it pretty streamline if you’ve used an Autel.
Good diagnostic but Limited Immo: Diagnostic side of the house no doubt about it. My point is its immo/key programming capabilities is too limited at the moment for its price.

Easy to use: The reason I’m thinking of getting this unit is it looks very easy to use as I go out to more and more non start cars with the immobiliser light flashing and need to interrogate the immobiliser Ecu as our current mobile locksmiths have made so much money that they can’t now be bothered to check a system for £50 cash which leaves the customer high and dry. But at £2500 its a major investment which will take a long time to break even
